Spirit Day

I am home this week doing normal things that people do. I'm so excited! I get to do laundry and clean my house. I get to take out the trash. I get to breathe! I have been traveling so much for ministry the past few months that I have not even unpacked my suitcase. I guess it's time! I am not complaining, though. It's been a glorious time of watching the Lord bear His fruit through me...

This month I traveled to Virginia and then to Texas where I was invited to be the guest speaker at 'Spirit Day' at Floral Heights Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. The title of the event was 'Living In the Joy Of The Lord' which is a topic which I haven't mastered yet but am passionate about teaching!  These Texan ladies received me and the message with open arms, and I left with a heart filled with joy.

When we are doing what God has made us to do and allowing His Spirit to flow through us, we get to share His joy! I am so enormously thankful that I am able to sing, to speak, and to learn to love like Jesus loves every day. Now that I am home doing the less glamorous things like cooking and cleaning, may I still live in the Lord's joy all the time as I fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of my faith.
